Pekovic wants to stay in Minnesota, but the front office is reportedly split on whether to re-sign him. As we've seen before with Omer Asik and DeAndre Jordan, big men often attract monster contracts on the restricted free agent market. Expect the Wolves to at least explore a potential long-term deal before Pekovic is eligible to receiver offers in July.
