The Toronto Raptors are working towards completing a deal with unrestricted free agent Greivis Vasquez. The deal is close to being finalized and could be completed as soon as Thursday, according to reports. Vasquez told media outlets in Venezuela that he is considering the $3.1 million qualifying offer from the Raptors, which would make him an unrestricted free agent again next summer. Vasquez still wants to sign somewhere where he can become a starter, so a one-year deal with Toronto makes sense since they just signed Kyle Lowry to a long-term contract.
