The Timberwolves and Andrei Kirilenko are reportedly finalizing a two-year, $20 million contract, with the second year a player option. A handful of teams were pursuing Kirilenko, but the Wolves landed him thanks to their cap-clearing inclusion in the three-team trade that cost the Wolves former No. 4 overall pick Wes Johnson and a future first-round pick. It's a lot of money to shell out for the 31-year-old forward, but he's coming off an MVP season in the EuroLeague, and he gives Minny a starting SF ahead of Chase Budinger.
