The Raptors and free agent center Aaron Gray have verbally agreed to a two-year contract. As with all deals during the FA moratorium, nothing can be signed until July 11 at the earliest. Gray is thoroughly unremarkable (last season he averaged 3.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 0.4 blocks in 17 minutes per game), but he gives Toronto a legitimate big man (7'0", 270 lbs.) off the bench. Presumably it's a cost-effective addition to the Raptors' depth chart, though the value of the deal hasn't been disclosed.
