The Nets signed Jason Collins to a second 10-day contract on Wednesday, as expected. The veteran center is averaging more personal fouls (2.2) than combined points (0.6), rebounds (1.0), assists (0.2) and blocks (0.0). He'll continue to rebound, set hard picks and play physical defense, and his presence is a nice insurance policy with Kevin Garnett bothered by back spasms.
