The Lakers "are said to have a strong interest" in Daniel Gibson, according to Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio. Amico writes that the Lakers "have nothing to offer," for Gibson. Boobie has fallen out of the rotation with the Cavs and the Lakers could use another 3-point shooter in the second unit, but it's hard to imagine the Lakers wanting to utilize their open roster spot on acquiring another point guard at this time. We'd imagine the Lakers will be linked to at least a couple of trade rumors between now and the February 21 deadline.
