The Lakers and Cavaliers have not found "common ground" in talks about a Pau Gasol-for-Andrew Bynum trade, but the teams are expected to continue discussions until Monday. The clock is ticking for any deal since the Lakers would require both players to clear physicals in time for Bynum to be waived before his deal is guaranteed for the rest of the season on Tuesday. The Lakers want to acquire young talent and/or draft picks in any Gasol deal, but the Cavs aren't willing to part with more than a second-round pick since Gasol could leave as a free agent this summer. Cleveland reportedly has two other potential deals, including one sending Bynum to the Jazz for Richard Jefferson, and either way a resolution is bound to be reached on Monday.
