The Kings have assigned second-year center Hassan Whiteside to their D-League affiliate in Reno, the Bighorns. Whiteside is 7'0" with a crazy wingspan but he has two minutes of NBA experience in two seasons, and is obviously too raw to earn a spot in Sacramento's rotation.
