The Celtics and Brandon Bass have officially signed a three-year contract worth approximately $20 million. Bass had the best season of his NBA career last year, and in 37 starts at PF he averaged 13.1 points on 47.4 percent FGs and 81.6 percent FTs, 6.1 rebounds, 0.7 steals and 1.1 blocks. For about $6.5 million per season, Boston could have done worse (see: Carl Landry's next contract).
