The Cavs and Lakers are still in talks for a trade involving Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum. Richard Jefferson's name has now also popped up for Bynum. Nothing appears to be imminent on either front and teams are not going to be offering the Cavs much because they have no leverage. The Jazz have been apprehensive in playing Enes Kanter because he slows down their tempo and can't defend inside, so the move doesn't make too much sense for them. Bynum might be cut on Jan. 7 and he can be left on the wire in almost all leagues.
