The Cavaliers do not want to send Anthony Bennett to the D-League because it would be an admission of a failure, according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated. He would be the highest pick ever to go to the D-League, but Bennett isn't totally against the idea. "I heard it helped out Shabazz [Muhammad] real well," Bennett said. "Any way to help, I'm with it." He doesn't have the athleticism to beat guys off the dribble or any real go-to moves in the post, so he really could use some seasoning with the D-League. Fantasy owners can ignore him in most leagues.

The guy is up for it. He didn't ask to be drafted 1st nor did his numbers indicate he was worthy of the 1st pick. Cleveland had PF/C on the roster at the time, yet that didn't hold them back from drafting him. God knows the level of depression this guy is battling. Since Cleveland doesn't have great trainers to help him, then send him to somewhere he'll grow and improve.
