The 76ers waived F Tim Ohlbrecht on Tuesday. He was cut loose to clear a spot for Daniel Orton on the Sixers' 20-man roster. Ohlbrecht has many years experience playing overseas, but he appeared in only three games for the Rockets last year and may have a hard time earning a guaranteed contract during the regular season.
