Thaddeus Young will have an MRI of his hamstring on Tuesday and could be out for as long as two months if he has a complete tear.
Doug Collins said after Monday's game that Young "could be out for a while," so we wouldn't be surprised to see an extended absence. If Young has a partial tear of the hamstring, he could be out approximately two weeks, but it's difficult to speculate on a timeline until we know the exact extent of his injury. Regardless, Young will miss multiple games even if it's a short-term injury, and Spencer Hawes figures to see as much playing time as he can handle without Young or Andrew Bynum (knees) available. Lavoy Allen and possibly Arnett Moultrie should also see more minutes.
