Steve Novak will start in place of DeMar DeRozan on Monday night vs. the Nets. DeRozan did not travel and could miss more time with his sprained foot/ankle. Novak will likely just be more of a placeholder for the starting unit and John Salmons could still see the bulk of the minutes next to Terrence Ross on the wing.
