Steve Blake (ribs) will visit a doctor this week to see if he can be cleared to return to action. Blake has been sidelined since the middle of January due to a fractured rib, and if he's medically cleared, Blake could play on Los Angeles' upcoming road trip. The Lakers could really use him as the team is desperate for improved play from the point guard position, and he was performing well in his role off the bench prior to going down. He's averaging 7.3 points, 2.8 assists and 1.4 treys in 24 minutes per game this season.
