Steve Blake is working to improve his shooting motion this summer, specifically putting more arch on his shot. Blake shot a miserable 36.0% from the field this season, which isn't out of character given his career mark of 40.6%. He was encouraged by his pre-lockout meeting with new Lakers coach Mike Brown, who emphasized an up-tempo attack and wants to shift Blake to a more familiar role as a "traditional point guard."
