Steve Blake (foot) returned to practice on Thursday after stepping on a spike strip a few weeks back. Mike Brown said he looked normal and unless something changes he'll be ready for the season opener. He's the favorite for backup PG duties behind Steve Nash, ahead of Chris Duhon.
