Stephenson dealt with an ankle injury during practice Thursday and had to be pulled, James Boyd of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Stephenson was a late scratch for Tuesday's matchup against the Cavaliers due to his left ankle sprain, and he continued to deal with the issue Thursday. Coach Rick Carlisle said after the practice session that he isn't sure whether Stephenson will be available Saturday against the Spurs or Sunday against Atlanta. Malcolm Brogdon (concussion) will be unavailable for each of the weekend matchups, so Chris Duarte, Tyrese Haliburton and Keifer Sykes should be in line for increased run if Stephenson is sidelined.
