Johnson provided 14 points (6-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal in 32 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 111-106 victory over the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson drew his sixth start of the season as Kessler Edwards shifted to the bench. The veteran missed all three of his three-point attempts but was still able to register his ninth double-digit scoring outing of the campaign. It was also just the second time this season that Johnson finished with at least 10 points, five rebounds and five assists in the same game. As long as Kevin Durant (kne) and Ben Simmons (not injury related) remain sidelined, Johnson figures to be a key part of coach Steve Nash's rotation.
