Davis did all he could, but the Lakers' playoff hopes fizzled before their eyes despite Davis' excellent totals. The Spurs hold the tiebreaker over the Lakers, which made Sunday's game a must-win, but Davis had his hands full without LeBron James (knee) alongside him. We should expect the Lakers to play Davis until the end, although their playoff fate is mostly out of their hands at this point.
