Smith stuffed the stat sheet in a Game 5 victory against the Mavericks, posting 20 points, eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two threes in 22 minutes of action. Although limited to a bench role, Smith has been extremely effective in the Playoffs, averaging 17.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 1.8 threes in five games. While it's rather peculiar that he's hitting that many threes per game (compared to his decreased production in defensive stats), it's a great sign that he's able to contribute in many ways, even though he's playing just 25.6 minutes per game.
