Smart played 25 minutes Monday night and helped spark a furious Celtics comeback that fell just short against Dallas. After being down 31 points, Coach Stevens went with a small, three guard lineup which had Smart guarding Dirk Nowitzki at times. The odd lineup worked, as the Celtics cut to lead to three in the fourth quarter. Smart's defense was ferocious, proving he deserves major minutes. He'll never rack up huge points, but expect good steals, blocks and rebounds from the rookie guard.
