Sixers owner Josh Harris said that the organization would be willing to use the amnesty clause this offseason under the right circumstances. Elton Brand is owed $18 million next season, but it's the final year of his deal. The only way it would make sense to amnesty the declining Brand is if it meant the Sixers would be adding a major piece. There are rumors they'll go after Kris Humphries in free agency and are also high on Lavoy Allen at power forward.
