Shane Battier was hot in Game 7's win on Thursday, making 6-of-8 from beyond the arc for his 18 points with four boards, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes. He was a deadly weapon for the Heat all year long and shot a sterling 43.0 percent from downtown during the regular year. In fact, no player made more threes in the corner than Battier this year thanks largely to the attacking style of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. He's under contract next year and should have a similar role.
