Green and the Rockets agreed to a three-year, $106 million extension Monday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.

This will be a unique extension, as it includes a player option for the third season to increase Green's earning potential. The guard is coming off a stellar preseason and there have been a lot of positive reports coming out of Houston. He could be poised for a breakout campaign after averaging 22.8 points per game following the All-Star break in 2023-24.
