Sampson has been ruled out of Tuesday's game against the Suns due to illness, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.

There is no word on his availability for Wednesday's matchup with Pistons, but unless he can shake the bug in the next 24 hours it seems unlikely that he'll take the court.
