Rose (knee) has a torn meniscus in his knee and will miss the rest of the season, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rose just can't catch a break, as the oft-injured point guard has once again suffered a knee injury that should keep him out for an extended period of time. While a torn meniscus isn't necessarily the worst case scenario, it's still a tough blow for Rose, who will likely now see a much smaller market for his services as he heads into free agency this summer. Rose finishes his 2016-17 campaign playing in 64 games, averaging 18.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists across 32.5 minutes, but has likely played his last game with the Knicks. Ron Baker should finish out the last two weeks of the season as the Knicks' starting point guard, offering him a decent uptick in minutes.
