Richardson (knee) will remain out Wednesday against the Wizards, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Richardson returned from major knee surgery earlier this season, and he's been battling routine soreness over the past week. The team will hold him out again Wednesday, meaning Robert Covington will likely remain in the starting lineup. Covington is averaging 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while making eight threes over his last two games.
