Ric Bucher is reporting that the Timberwolves have entered the Ray Allen sweepstakes, albeit as a very deep darkhorse. If Allen doesn't take his talents to South Beach or re-sign with the Celtics, the Timberwolves are said to have some interest in talking to the free agent sharp shooter. It would be a major shocker if Allen doesn't re-up with the Celtics or sign with the Heat, but stranger things have happened. Stay tuned.
