Cunningham (hip) will make his return during Friday's game against the Hornets, Johnny Kane of Bally Sports Detroit reports.

The rookie has missed the past five games due to right hip soreness. He continues to deal with some inconsistency, but he's putting together a very nice campaign. Since the start of January, he's averaging 16.6 points, 5.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 31.6 minutes.
