Giddey was the only player to collect double-digit boards in the contest, and he finished with his second straight double-double. The 19-year-old has posted 11 double-doubles on the campaign -- tops among all rookies. Giddey finishes January with per-game averages of 13.3 points, 8.6 boards, 6.1 assists, 1.4 three-pointers and 1.0 steals on the month. He should have an even greater opportunity to thrive at the start of February with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) expected to be out through the All-Star break.
