Ray Allen will start at SG in place of Dwyane Wade on Saturday. Wade is getting a day of rest in the second of Miami's back-to-back set, which gives Allen his fifth start of the season. The veteran is averaging 13.8 points in those contests but he's an abysmal 9-of-52 from the field in January, so hopefully he can get on track vs. a Bobcats team which allows opponents to shoot 37.9 percent from downtown (27th in the league).
