Ray Allen is doubtful for Wednesday's game vs. the Pacers due to a stomach virus.
Allen is averaging 11.9 points in 28 minutes per game this month, frequently stepping into a bigger role with Dwyane Wade in and out of the lineup, and he could probably use a day to rest anyway. Toney Douglas should assume most of the minutes Allen leaves behind at SG, assuming the veteran doesn't recover in time for tip-off.
Anyone who thinks it isn't a huge loss if he doesn't play tonight, should realize it is kind of like pacers coming in without Stephenson or hill... Allen is their best option outside the big three and if he doesn't play it's a big impact
