Thybulle (shoulder) logged 33 minutes in Tuesday's 117-107 win over the Pelicans, finishing with three points (1-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.
EDGE Analysis
Thybulle started and handled a heavy minutes load in his return from a five-game absence due to a sprained shoulder, but he didn't provide his trademark stalwart defense in the win. Though the stat sheet told a different story, Thybulle served as the primary defender against Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who blew up for 31 points and was able to get off jumpers without much difficulty. Once he regains his wind, expect Thybulle to resume shining on the defensive end both from a statistical and real-life standpoint, though he'll likely have to sacrifice at least a few minutes once the likes of Seth Curry (ankle), Danny Green (hip) and Shake Milton (back) are back in action.
