Pistons guard Will Bynum didn't leave the bench on Friday, two days after confronting coach Mo Cheeks. Cheeks said that the benching wasn't punitive but it's impossible to ignore the timing, and presumably Bynum is deep in his coach's doghouse. Chauncey Billups was the beneficiary of the switch, playing nine minutes in his return to the lineup.
