Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy confirmed that Blake (concussion) would return to the court for Friday's preseason finale against the Hawks, MLive.com's Aaron McMann reports.

Blake will make his preseason debut after a concussion suffered in a Sept. 30 practice left him limited for much of training camp. The veteran endured a minor setback along the way during his recovery, but resumed practicing Tuesday and Thursday to receive clearance to return to the lineup. Van Gundy said he plans on playing Blake around 20-to-24 minutes Friday in preparation for the primary backup role behind Reggie Jackson at point guard once the regular season tips off.
