Jaquez (groin) participated in contact work during Monday's scrimmage, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Jaquez has been dealing with a left groin strain for nearly two weeks, and although he participated in most of Monday's scrimmage, he was also monitored. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Wednesday's regular-season opener against Detroit, but even if he sits out, it seems likely that he'll be ready to play early in the regular season.
