Papanikolaou is in the starting lineup for Tuesday' game against the Lakers, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Papanikolaou moves into the starting lineup, as Danilo Gallinari will sit out with an ankle injury. Many believed Will Barton would be the starter, but it looks as if coach Michael Malone wanted to keep him in a bench role due to the amount of success he's had there recently. With that being said, the start marks Papanikolaou's first of the year and second of his career, so look for him to see an increase in minutes from the nine he's averaged so far this season. Barton and Darrell Arthur should see plenty of time at the three as well behind him.
