Mitchell (COVID-19 protocols) is out Friday against the Grizzlies, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Mitchell was initially listed as questionable due to protocols and is now, unsurprisingly, sidelined for at least Friday's game against the Grizzlies and possibly longer. De'Aaron Fox and Terence Davis are also in protocols, so the Kings will be quite shorthanded in the backcourt, especially with Tyrese Haliburton (back) also questionable. Buddy Hield and Harrison Barnes could end up shouldering the offensive load.
