Now that Steve Nash has been traded to the Lakers, the Knicks are fully expected to match any offer to free agent PG Jeremy Lin. Lin is still meeting with the Rockets late on Wednesday night and they appear to be set to come with a strong offer. But now that Nash is off the table, it appears that the Knicks will match, regardless of how much money it will cost them. There is still a chance the Knicks will go after a veteran like Jason Kidd, but the marketing appeal of Lin will likely keep him in New York, regardless.
