Nicholson signed a four-year, $26 million contract with the Wizards on Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nicholson was a rotational player for the Magic this past season, seeing just under 15 minutes per game, while also posting averages of 6.9 points and 3.6 rebounds. Nicholson should fight for minutes at the power forward spot with both Markieff Morris and Drew Gooden for the Wizards, so despite potentially seeing a boost in value by moving to a new team, he still doesn't have a direct path to consistent minutes. His projected role should become much more clear once training camp rolls around.
