Neto scored ten points (4-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt) to go along with two rebounds, one assist, and two steals in Utah's preseason win over the Nuggets on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Neto has proven to be a spark throughout the preseason, especially on the defensive end, but Thursday he showed his scoring ability. The 23-year-old rookie out of Brazil hasn't been an explosive scorer this preseason, but his ability as a natural passer should keep him in coach Quin Snyder's toolbox this upcoming season. Trey Burke seems to have a firm role on Utah's starting point guard spot for now, but don't be surprised to see Neto gain more minutes if he can prove himself as a playmaker on the offensive end.
