Mike Scott said that his priority this summer will be improving his perimeter game, dribbling and ability to defend guards. The Hawks' switching defense requires Scott to keep up with smaller and quicker players on a regular basis, and his 'stretch PF' role means that "you have to be able to handle the ball ... I'm not totally comfortable with it yet." Scott hopes to return with the Hawks next season and they're in a position to retain him as a restricted free agent.
