Mike D'Antoni does not expect Steve Nash (nerve root irritation) to return this season. Nash can't shake his persistent injury and with the Lakers headed nowhere this season, D'Antoni would prefer to give minutes to the team's younger guards. It's a reasonable approach which opens the possibility that we've seen Nash in his final NBA game -- he's suggested that he will retire if the Lakers decide to release him via the 'stretch provision' this summer.
