Mike Conley hit 4-of-8 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, six assists and two steals in Wednesday's win over the Bucks. We're fielding questions as to what's wrong with Conley this season, but he's averaging more points than last season (14 to 12.7), his assists are slightly down from 6.5 to 6.1, and he's getting just 30 seconds less per game as far as playing time goes. He's also shooting it better from both the floor and 3-point land than he did last season and his steals are up. The biggest difference is that last year's 2.0 turnovers have jumped up to 3.1 this season, but he's essentially a slightly better version of last year's Conley. And he's returning solid third-round value according to Basketballmonster.com. So the answer is, nothing is wrong with Conley.
