McRoberts (foot) has been ruled out of Tuesday's preseason matchup with the Nets, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

McRoberts continues to recover from a stress reaction in his right foot and has yet to participate in a full practice, after spending the last few days as a limited participant. At this point, there's no guarantees he's able to return prior to the start of the regular season, which means Derrick Williams, Luke Babbitt and James Johnson should continue to battle for the vacant starting power forward job.
