McDermott has submitted double-digit scoring efforts in four of the Bulls' last five games and has knocked down eight treys during that span. While it's possible McDermott could displace the struggling Tony Snell in the starting lineup at small forward sooner or later, such a change wouldn't change the second-year forward's outlook much.
