McDermott played 26 minutes Monday against the Wizards and scored eight points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT) to go along with one rebound. McDermott was drafted to bring the Bulls more outside shooting and he did make one three-pointer in his first preseason game. He could carve out a nice role this season if he can hit his open shots and play solid defense.
