McDermott (concussion) was cleared for non-contact and shooting drills Monday, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

McDermott was absent for all of Chicago's six-game road trip and still appears to be dealing with some lingering concussion symptoms. He'll continue to go through the league's concussion protocol this week with his next opportunity to return being Wednesday against the Lakers.
