McDermott (concussion) has been ruled out for the next three games and could miss upwards of five, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.

Coach Fred Hoiberg indicated that McDermott is out for the Los Angeles portion of the team's upcoming road trip, which officially keeps McDermott sidelined for the next three games. However, coach Hoiberg didn't rule out the fact that McDermott may miss the entire road trip, which would add on two additional absences and give him his next opportunity to see the court in a Nov. 30 matchup with the Lakers. That said, Denzel Valentine could have additional opportunities on the wing with McDermott out for an extended period of time.
